The Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) reported in a news release today that sexually transmitted infections (STI) like Chlamydia and syphilis surged in 2010.
Last week the CDC also released another study that cited teenage girls as being the largest part of the population effected by chlamydia and gonorrhea . Annually there are 1.5 million cases of these two diseases oraquick cost reported in the US every year. Of the 1.5 million infected 409,531 are teenage girls. There is also a higher incidence of sexually transmitted diseases in black teenage girls.
